Need ideas for summer activities? Check out the schedules below for the puppet shows and movie theaters.

Roswell Puppet Shows

@ Roswell Cultural Arts Center, 950 Forrest St, Roswell, GA 30075

Shows begin June 9 and will run until July 26. Show times are 10 a.m. Monday through Thursday, Fridays at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday. Puppet-making workshops will be offered after the shows Monday-Friday (after the 11 a.m. show only.) Cost for children ages 2-12 is $4, $5 for adults and $3 for the workshop, ages 5 and over only.

June 9-14: The Dragon Queen presented by Tanglewood Marionettes

June 16-21: An Arabian Adventure presented by Tanglewood Marionettes

June 23-28: Martin's Magical Revue presented by Wayne Martin Puppets 

June 30-July 5: Travelin' Tales presented by Lee Bryan "That Puppet Guy"

July 7-12: Penguin's Playground presented by Bob Brown Puppets

July 14-19: There's a Dinosaur in the Closet presented by Coad Puppets

July 21-26: Circus Fanta-Sea presented by Lee Bryan "That" Puppet Guy

2 Free Films each Tuesday & Thursday at 10am; doors open at 9:15.
Popcorn & Drink Combo $2. (Caffeine-free Sprite & Fruit Punch available. No outside food or drink.)

Flicks on 5th Summer Film Series

@ Technology Square in Midtown (5th Street, between Spring St. & Williams St.) http://flickson5th.gatech.edu/

Series runs from June 11th through July 23rd and is produced by the Georgia Tech Student Center. All movies are on Wednesdays and begin at nightfall (around 9 p.m.).  Admission is free. Bring your own chairs and blankets, but please leave coolers, umbrellas and pets at home.
